Most of the moving companies in Mexico which offer storage services do so merely as a complement to other services they provide and little thought is put into this aspect. However, at Atlas Van Lines Mexicana, we know that high-quality storage services are lacking in Mexico City and we call our storage system "Total Security Storage" for several very good reasons.
To begin with, we approach a storage shipment as if it were an international shipment with nowhere to go; the packing is almost identical. From our especially manufactured, distinctive boxes of varying types to the largest variety of packing materials used in Mexico, to the wooden boxes we construct for paintings and other fragile items, our fully trained and experienced packers do whatever is necessary to ensure that everything is packed to the highest possible worldwide standards.
Our storage system is in vaults and your goods are never mixed with any others. Unless physically impossible, your goods are loaded into vaults directly at your residence. Upon arrival back at our warehouse, seals are placed on the vaults and each vault is positioned back into its designated place (each vault is coded) in a special area of our operations center. Unless accessed by you at some time during the storage period, when we deliver the vaults back to your home for direct unloading, whether it be weeks, months or years later, the contents will have remained completely untouched.
Among some of the special features that we offer with our storage system are the following:
"Tiltwatch" indicator on each vault, allowing the owner on delivery to verify that the vault has never been positioned any other way than the correct position while in our warehouse or being transported.
"Shockwatch" indicator on each vault, allowing the owner on delivery to verify that the vault has never been lowered under other than normal circumstances nor has ever received any blow to it.
Our warehouse is fumigated monthly, against all manner of pests.
Although our warehouse is extremely dry, just as an added precaution, we include silica gel in each vault to absorb any excess humidity.
Our warehouse is one of very controlled access and we count on our 24 hour armed security guards to maintain strict control over this aspect at all times.
